Brief Introduction
The HY-RS3 piezoelectric rain gauge incorporates an advanced compact piezoelectric sensor module internally. It measures rainfall intensity by utilizing the voltage effect generated when raindrops impact the piezoelectric module.
Compared with traditional mechanical rain detection methods, the HY-RS3 piezoelectric rain detector can sense the start and end time of rainfall more sensitively and quickly. Moreover, there is no need to worry about the interference of moving objects such as leaves and branches swinging above the detector with rainfall detection. An optional heating device is built into the product to prevent icing.
Featuring no moving parts inside, the HY-RS3 piezoelectric rain detector is maintenance-free, compact in size and low in energy consumption.
